Dr. Vikas Rai Bhatnagar

An impactful action researcher, Dr. Bhatnagar stated his career with the Indian Army as a commissioned officer in the Corps of Signals, leading companies from the front in operational areas, assisting the civil administrations during times of national emergencies and performing staff duties. Thereafter, Dr. Bhatnagar led the human resource function of reputed organizations at different levels and industries. He has worked in automotive, pharmaceuticals, agri-business, clinical development, sugar, insurance, steel fabrication, lights manufacturing, power, and cement. As the CHRO for over 12 years, Dr. Bhatnagar has been instrumental in devising game-changing HR strategies, aligned to the business requirements and cultural uniqueness of the firms.
A doctorate in management from the Management Development Institute, Gurgaon, an MBA with specialization in Human Resources, and an MA in Psychology with specialization in counseling psychology, Dr. Bhatnagar is an impactful action researcher and has contributed immensely in the domain of developing and deploying organizational vision, mission, and values, leadership development, succession planning, organization redesigning and structuring, assessing and improving organizational culture, assessing and improving employee engagement, and designing impactful systems such as performance management, compensation and benefits, learning and development systems.
Dr Bhatnagar presented the new Theory of Profitable Humanization at the Academy of Management (AOM), in Seattle, USA in 2022. AACSB Insights published three thought-leadership articles on employee engagement, developing conscious leaders, and applying Dharma for leading businesses for sustained growth. Dr. Bhatnagar contributes to improving the bottom-line performance of firms while simultaneously enabling employee wellbeing.
